PROJECT

The Project was "Vinyl".

The goal of the project was to promote a Music Festival that was investing 100% of its marketing budget in social media.

We launched a facebook and twitter campaign to drive people to become fans of the festival prior to the event.

HOW WE DID IT

The core of the project leveraging facebook and twitter as the primary driver of communication. We launched a series of campaigns that targeted the audience demographically and sold tickets online.

We also created a "micro" site (landing page) which would contain details of the event, and help promote sponsors and artists.

SUCCESS

The project was successful by the one important measure - the events were sold out. We were able to show how viral marketing and social media can be a more cost effective way to drive event promotion.

Due to the overwhelming buzz, we were able to get multiple featured articles in newspapers, magazines and other websites as well.
